3.1 Vehicle identification through use of the VIN

 

You must be registered and logged in to DAF ePortal for accessing vehicle technical information.
You must have purchased credits to the VTI function in DAF RMI.

  1. Start “DAF RMI” in DAF ePortal.
  2. By default, DAF RMI starts in the [VTI] view.

    3. If you are also granted access to other RMI content the application will start in the [Asset specific] view by default. In that case click on the [VTI] view.

  3. Enter your 17-digit vehicle identification number or the 8-digit DAF number.
  4. A successful vehicle identification is confirmed by showing the VTI landing page, in which can be verified if the correct vehicle is shown.
